Introduction

This book is the rule alterations for the Game world of Altris. The ruleset is based on the Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 game system with some added and removed elements.

Altris

This world is a large planet in the Altris System. It is one of 6 objects capable of supporting life. Altris is the most populus, with the highest variety of life forms. The climate ranges from artic to tropical with wet marshlands to deserts that have never seen rain. Large flat plains to high mountain peaks. There is something for everyone. On average the science is at the iron age with a few cultures lagging and some isolated areas still in the stone age and small isolated areas that are in the slightly more advance age. Magic plays an important part in most everyone’s lives and dragons are common sights patrolling the skies. There is no known underdark. There are caves and caverns, but no vast area full of civilizations, monster and cultures, most life is lived on or near the surface. This is a spelljamming world, so most cities will have either standard spelljammer ships or disguised spelljammers in their ports. Off world monster races however have quickly learned not to visit any human or elven city as they will be ran off or attacked.
