The Half-Orc

The half-orc here originates in the same manner they have everywhere. Generally through raids on human villages. The half-orc population however is low as they are not really accepted by either orc or human communities, and many are killed at birth by their human mothers. Half-orc do have their own communities, many are deep in the unclaimed wilderness and away from trade routes. Manny who leave these communities, hire out as mercenaries or hired thugs for crime syndicates. For those that remain, many of these communities mirror nearby human cities.

Relations with other races

Humans

Depending on the kingdom, depends on the reception a half-orc will receive. A good rule of thumb is, if there is a living half-orc, not in chains, then half-orc might be tolerated in that kingdom. If no half-orc is seen, then there is a good chance they have all been killed or enslaved.

Dwarves

As a general rule dwarves do not like orcs, therefor by proxy, they do not like half-orcs and they will verbally make it known. Dwarven communities will not trade with negotiate with or even assosate with half-orcs. Dwarven patrols will walk around a half-orc village and expect the half-orcs to do the same.

Halflings

They tend to stay away from half-orc villages. Mostly becuase of the strict laws and punishments they expect to face. But also becuase of the size difference and becuase they stand-out. Halfling will trade with them and enter into agreements with out moderators

Elves

Like dwarves elves are not very fond of half-orcs. They are not a fanatical about it as the dwarves. They will not engage in conversation with a half-orc unless it is absolutely neccessary. If a half-orc is in a group the elve will talk to the non half-orc first. The only sub-race exception is the Nomadic Elves, they will happily trade, talk and in most cases with be the go-between with other races.

Half-Elves

Understanding the half-breed nature most half-elves can at least sympathize with them and are slightly more tollerant then elves are.
