Hull Points and Ships Armor Rating

The hull points and armor rating of a ship is based on two contruction items; Size and Material. Size is counted simply because the larger the ship, the more holes you can put into it before you run out of material to put holes in. The material is because some material is harder to put hols in than others. So it is all about holes.

Materials: Some materials are stronger than others, however some materials resist some types of damage and are lighter than others. This becomes important on wheather a ship can land on water, land or even enter an atmosphere without falling or collapsing under its own weight.
