Tarafey’s origins are shrouded in mystery. The generally accepted origin is she came into being when ancient gods celebrated some event with song and dance. The energy left behind became Tarafey. The avatar for Tarafey is a very charismatic human looking female. She is tall, about 6 feet in height and looking to weigh about 150 pounds. Her skin, eyes, and hair all change color as she sings and dances, this is said to be taking on the facets of the ancient gods whose power gave her life. Her appearance remains as the last appearance when she stopped dancing. Statues of Tarafey change between temples and no two temples will have the identical statue. She is always dressed in a flowing satin dress.
Her clerics wear silk or satin robes with a brooch of a silver dancer. This brooch is the holy symbol. Tarafey clerics seldom enter combat, when they do, they will wear a breastplate over their robes and generally use two weapons (rapiers). Their combat maneuvers are more like dance steps than combat however, they are very effective. A cleric of Tarafey in combat with two weapons loses all penalties for using two weapons in combat, if they have the two-weapon fighting and ambidextrous feats. So instead of having a -2 / -2, the cleric would not have any penalties. With out the feats, the cleric’s penalties are reduced by 2 on each hand. In addition, the cleric also receives an AC bonus equal to the magical hit bonus on the weapon.
Adventuring clerics prefer to cast healing and augmentation spells on their party and only enter physical combat with they must, always preferring to use diplomacy to resolve things if they can.
