Stories say that Ransi’s child, Nanta-ra was conceived with two personalities. The two personalities could not stand to share the same body and eventually split in two tearing Nanta-ra apart. The hatred grew as the two gazed upon each other and seeing the same face, same hair, same everything. Over time the two would fight scaring each other in the process and always in the opposite location keeping the two an exact mirror image of each other. Ransi became so tired of the endless fighting and the evil that was consuming them and decided to banish them from her realm of the dead. Jungrin was taken to Oinos while Ret was taken to Nifiheim and told to stay. Both remain as their mother wished; however, it did not stop them from trying to inflict harm on each other. They gather stray daemons from the planes around them and send their armies to invade each other’s realms.
The clergy of both Jungrin and Ret dress opposite to each other. One wares red robes with black trim while the other black robes with red trim. Whenever the two meet, there will be a fight. The clerics promote hatred as a natural part of life, that hate is needed to motivate people to do what is necessary. Clergy have been known to start disputes, fights and even wars between people who were friendly to each other. For these and many other reasons the faith is banned from many cities and kingdoms.
The temples, when allowed to be constructed, are generally of black and red stone with spires ending in thin sharp spikes. The interior is the same with murals of acts of hatred or suffering on the ceilings and walls. Jungrin's temples gennerally has a large cloaked and hooded male statue standing over the alter, his face unscared as he might have looked before he was attacked by Ret. While Ret's temple has a large cloaked and hooded female statue. Her face unscared as she might have looked before she was attacked by Jungrin. The faces are never the same from temple to temple.
