The Order of Burning Dawn was originally divided into four distinct branches: the Prophets, the Teachers, the Investigators, and the Hand. The Prophets guided the entire organization, charting its purpose and direction. The Teachers oversaw the education and training of younger members, instructing them in the nature of the prophecy and the specialized skills needed to further the Order’s aims. The Investigators were tasked with seeking out evidence of prophesied events, reporting their findings to the Prophets. Finally, the Hand carried out the necessary actions to address these events in whatever manner they saw fit.
Over time, the Order became riddled with corruption. Some members sought to force the prophecy to manifest within their own lifetimes, while others attempted to bury it entirely for fear that their investigations might bring it to pass. Still others used the prophecy as a tool to eliminate rivals, enrich themselves, or increase their influence.
The Order’s downfall came during the Crusader Wars, when its corruption reached a breaking point. At the King’s command, soldiers were dispatched to arrest the Order’s members and dismantle its operations. In the ensuing struggle, the Order’s adherents were slaughtered, and their original hall in Ura was later repurposed into an orphanage. Those members who were absent during the raid either went into hiding or publicly renounced the Order.
Meanwhile, members of the Order from an alternate timeline—one in which the King simply disbanded their corrupt faction rather than destroying it—found themselves transported into this world. In their own timeline, a handful of rogue members of the Hand had to be forcibly subdued, but the Order ultimately fell without bloodshed.
Now, these alternate-timeline members have resolved to rebuild the Order with renewed integrity and purpose. They are constructing a new hall, establishing new leadership, and setting fresh goals. Determined to prevent the old cycle of corruption and ensure their struggle against prophesied calamities continues, they have chosen a new name: the Prophecy’s Hammer.

This has caused some conflict with the workers amd the rangers as the attendants and some of the acolytes are under the impression the church is in charge. One of the acolytes even is attempting to alter the designs.
