- The city guard as a whole. From the guard captains down to the patrolman. reputation with this faction determines how the PC's group is regarded by the city guard of Maguld. If the guard likes the PC’s, then the guard will be civil to them, help them out and take their word during a criminal investigation the PC's may be involved in. When a person or organization wishes to hire adventurers for some job, it is the adventurer’s guild that forms the contract and contacts the proper group of adventurers to undertake the contract. This faction is the upper guild leaders and administrators for the guild. If the guild dislikes the PCs, then contracts will not be offered to the PCs and contracts will be taken against the PCs. If the reputation is favorable, the guild may seek out the PCs for assistance with special contracts. The guild will also not take contracts that would interfere with the PCs or that directly affect them.
Reputation with this faction also will affect if the guild hires out its members to the PCs. In some cases, the members may also refuse to work for the PCs if the reputation is too low. On the other hand, members may jump at the idea of working for and with the PCs if the guild reputation is good.

When the time comes for the prophecy to be fulfilled, they believe that Heironeous will empower them with the knowledge necessary to stop the prophecy in its tracks.
