This is a sisterhood of highly trained and dedicated assassins. They use a combination of Fighting and thieving skills plus mystic arts to perform their tasks. Though they take jobs for hire, the sisterhood generally targets persons that will allow the greatest amount of chaos and disruption to society.
UPDATE: According to Darla the primary goal of the sisterhood is to return the lands to a time where they can operate in the open again.
Clothing is red, black white or gray, or a combination of all. They wear light to no visible armor. Some bare symbols on their headdresses other do not. Their faces are almost always covered in masks, vales or scarfs.
Short, bladed weapons sometimes curved and nearly always one in each hand. Thrown daggers darts and blowguns have also been observed.
The sisterhood seems to work mostly alone, the most anyone has ever encountered at one time is a pair.
UPDATE: According to Darla, the sisterhood operates in groups of two or three, always. One of the group could always be in plain sight while the others are operating in the shadows.
The sisterhood has also been known to use magic or mystic arts in combat and for assassination.
This spell will reduce the visibility in a 60 x 60 foot area down to 2-3 feet. The cloud also hinders sound causing a -10 on all listen checks. Infravision, ultravision and true sight will fail as the spell is not an illusion but an alteration spell that causes the moisture in the surrounding air to condense into a thick fog. Spell such as gust of wind will blow the fog away, fire-based spells will burn off the moisture.
This spell causes the assassin to change to a mist form preventing harm from any physical attacks and move at blinding speed to strike a single target. Regardless of the number of attacks the assassin has, only a single attack is made. This attack however is made with a +4 attack bonus and a +4 damage bonus. The target is permitted a reflex save to negate the attack bonus.
This spell allows the assassin to use a single dagger attack to transfer life from the target to herself in effect healing herself the amount of damage delt. This spell causes d4+1 per level to a maximum of 5d4+5. A fortitude save will negate the magical damage resulting in the normal dagger attack damage to be applied.
This spell allows the assassin to trade places with any ally within the area of a standard full move action. The assassin will not be able to attack the same round, however if the ally has not attacked yet he/she will be able to attack but with a -4 penalty for being disorientated.
Believed to be a group of religious assassins who are thought to worship a god of murder or destruction. They are known to take on high target contracts on members of royal families and those in upper echelons that normally could not be reached. It is not known if their religious affiliations align with this practice or if the contract killing is simply a means of income.
According to Darla, the Unseen are a group of Shadowmancer-Assassins who work for the highest bidder and only taking high end jobs with the most pay. The profits go to fund their spell reseach and magical research projects.
Information obtained from a chance meeting in Tal-From. the Unseen or Lords of Shadow as they call themselves, are in the middle of a fallout with the Blood Order. They are also having difficulties with another group or cult that according to them worship a negitive energy god.
Since they are not normally seen, their manner of dress is unknown. It is suspected they do not ware a uniform or any identifying marks that are obvious to outsiders.
UPDATE: They seem to dress all in black with hoods and a cloth over their faces. Their clothing looks as if they are made of the shadows themselves.
Only the carnage that is left behind is available to identify the chosen weapon types. According to the carnage, they do not have a preferred type. Bashing, slicing, piercing, poison, and magic are all suspected weapons.
Unknown. There may be an estimated of 1-20 per assassin attempt. Base completely on the number of weapons thought used.
Some of their magic is known from some that witnessed the attacks or gave chase. The Unseen seem to use shadows and are very adept at it. Some believe they are specialists in using shadow magic or even elemental shadow users. They seem to be able to move from one shadow to another both when attacking and escaping. The can make shadows move, deepen or cause them to disappear entirely. Some reports claim the shadows themselves attacked or even devoured people.

This organization was started by a Krishtom Hollif a fallen Knight of Guy-Poi. Details of if his fall from grace are unknown as the temple, he hailed from was destroyed and all members slain. What is known is he fell from grace about 200 years ago and lead followers loyal to him against the temple, where he slaughtered all the priests. All the original knights have long since perished, nearly all died in battle.
The storm knights grew to a formable army under Krishtom’s leadership, large enough to challenge a small kingdom. Their challenge was however short lived as hundreds of Gyu-Poi knights flocked to the kingdoms capital city to defend it. As the story goes, thousands took to the field in a bloody battle, Gyu-Poi holy texts also claim that Gyu-Poi sent her avatar to fight in the battle and it was she that helped turn the tied and sent the Storm Knights fleeing. The organization has never gained such strength again.
The Storm Knights under Krishtom fell in league with a demon Alessorfi, from the elemental plane of air. They of course call it a god. A god or demon is irrelevant however as it does bestow powers of the elemental plane upon them. Clerics of this order have not been seen, however wizard and sorcerers who specialize in elemental air magic are often seen traveling with them.
For the most part the knights tend to follow the laws of the land and generally will not instigate any fights. However, putting members of Gyu-Poi in the same area and there will be a conflict. It is not recommended to enter a conflict with a knight unless forced to as their skill levels are great.
Current Leader Castille Solack.
The Storm Knights dress as knights with armor ranging from chainmail to full platemail. Sir coats and tabards are generally white with a fading light gray to dark gray borders. Their shields bare the symbol of a dark storm cloud with bolts of lightning coming out all sides. Most of the symbols have 15 bolts, one bolt for each original member of the knights. Squires wear padded armor and light gray tabards and normally armed with a spear or staff. Wizards have dark robes with light and dark gray swirling clouds throughout, while the advisor wears a simple thick light gray hooded robe.
The knights use a variety of elemental air magic in combat. They can generate weapons from the air around them to include lances, hammers, blades and even darts or arrow. They can generate a force of wind that can travel up to 100 miles per hour over a medium distance in an arc, knocking enemies from their feet. They can also cause a large down draft of air that can force people to the ground. Knights have been seen controlling the wind and generating storms.
A Knight is often seen with one to two squires and generally an advisor and a wizard round off their group. The advisor is thought to be the priest or shaman, but none have ever displayed any magical abilities and minor fighting abilities. It has been noted the advisor speaks to the knight as if the advisor is channeling their gods will. Two to five knights traveling together is not uncommon.
UPDATE: According to Darla, there are 16 knights each with one squire, a prophet and commands up to 40 warriors and one or two arcane magic users.
UPDATE: According to Darla, the knight have elemental air releated spells at their command.
Malac is a lesser power in the nine hells, it is believed he was a devil that rose into god status and carved out a realm in the nine hells. He is referred to as the “Patron Saint of Free Willed Undead”. His followers see the dead laying at rest to be a sin and work to empower and strengthen them. They view undeath as a method of immortality and a way of entering the realm and embrace of their god. Malac's symbol is a white skeletonal hand on a dark red background. The hand has a thumb on either side. 4 fingers, 2 thumbs.
UPDATE: Based out of Ashbourne and is lead by twelve grand clerics, each of which command 4 high clerics. Jonus was a High cleric.
The order priests generally wear black robes blotched with gray spots to signify grave dirt. The robes are hooded and the face is covered with a bone white mask made from a see through fabic. Guards tend to wear only leather with the occasional chainmail, in both cases the armor is stained or painted a bone color or covered with a bone color cloth. Mercenaries or adventurers who follow this order will wear the best armor they have.
Priest and guards tend to use piercing weapons so the bodys are not to badly damaged and can be used. So mostly daggers, rapiers, and spears. Other followers and adventurers use what ever they have.
The Order of Malac is outlawed in most kingdoms and operate in secret in these kingdoms. Some independant city states in the northern lands and on some island kingdoms they operate freely and provide undead as the primary armies of these kingdoms. In these locations their numners are high and their members are protected by law. In the outlawed kingdoms their numbers are low with priest using mercenaries to do thier work in the open.
Malac, being a minor god, does bestow magic on his followers. Clerics however are restricted to 4 level and lower spells but gain some special abilities that can vastly exceed the level restrictions. Primary Cleric Domains are Death, Destruction, evil, Law and War.
Clerics are able to Create Lesser Undead, Command Undead, Imbue Undead with Ability, Inhabit corpse, Imbue Undead with Spell Ability and Bind soul to corpse
This brotherhood worships Gorgodagon a demon god from the elemental plane of magma. The god-demon takes the shape of a great dragon and made purely of elemental magma. Gorgodagon has made several attempts to cross into the prime material plane but has always been stopped by prime material dragons.
The brotherhood sees their god as the harbinger of destruction for whom will open the doorway to everlasting salvation, where they will rule over the souls taken by the flames for all eternity. They will work with anyone who attempts to weaken the forces of good that work to prevent them from their purpose.
The cult has been banned from every known city and the cult must work in secret. Their temples are normally underground hidden away in the lower levels of some dungeon. They will have shrines in their basements or in alcoves of sewers. They rarely make their appearance known. However, there is some occasions where a charismatic leader will recruit enough and will attempt to march on towns and cities. In these cases, the brotherhood will fully display their standards and dress.
Temples are normally simple in construction. There normally is only a large stone or wooden alter with a large brazier behind it. Shrines will only have a small brazier. There is no depictions or images of their god except on the first page of their holy book.
The clerics wear platemail armor that is stained black with red cracks running through it, making the armor appear like a cooling lava flow. Helms and shields are stained in the same manner. Their preferred weapon is a Morningstar or spiked club. Followers will wear a tabard painted to match the priest armor and will use and wear what they can afford and what their profession permits.
Their groups consist anywhere between 5 and 100 followers. The groups normally consist of a few clerics (10%) and some muscle (15%) craftsmen (5%) and peasants (70%).
Gorgodagon does not bestow special powers on his followers. Clerics are restricted to lower-level magic (3rd or lower), they can not turn or control undead.
Followers of a Negitive Energy god. They appearently have a temple outside of Tal-From.
According to a source from the Unseen, these priest physical form has altered or mutated, more than likely from their constant use of negitive energy or by the will of their god. They still have a basic human appearencem, however they have appendadges that come out of the sides of their neck and can strike out at a target draining them of life.
They seem to use their tenticals as a primary physical attack and remain at a distance and outside malee where they can use spells or special abilities.
It has been seen they can use transportation magic such as teleport or dimension door. They are able to control summoned spells, an example seen is; a flaming sphere spell was taken control of, altered into a snake and sent to attack the original caster. One of the priests open a dark portal under the feet of a defender that closed shortly after, possible doorway or some type of trap spell.
Polymorphing them into a normal creature seems to have adverse affects on them. Perhaps causing a negative energy feedback that kills them instantly. How long this vulnerability will last is unknown.
A creature like this was reported on the battle field attacking Crusader Goblin Defilers.
