Book - The wild history of Tenarian Flats by Unkown

The city of Tenarian Flats was said to have been constructed some 1100 years ago by the elder elves of the Kingdom of Eluellan. This city was built to be a trading post between the kingdom and the kingdoms if the Middle Sea. The city stood and prospered for nearly 50 years until the city was destroyed by the Lizardmen of the Lazshorma Empire. Apparently, the lizards had no issues with the city until it began draining the marsh for new farmlands. The city laid in ruins for approximately 260 years before it was taken over by Orish tribes from Gornimesh during the Elven-Orcish war. During this time, the Elves, lizard-folk and dwarves formed an alliance to stand off against the orc horde. Lizard-folk armies eventually cleared the ruins killing all the orcs in the ruins. No more than 10 years after the end of the Elven-Orc war the first known humans appeared through a large portal. Unfortunately, these humans were not the best of our species and were religious fanatics that followed the “Light of Gryoczogias” and made claim to the world itself using the Tenarian Flats as their capital city. Within 10 years the lizardmen besieged and destroyed the settlement. One of the high priests reportedly escaped the carnage. Several of these cultists was said to have formed the Uniche Empire in the north-east. The priest returned with a larger force several years later and reclaimed the Tenarian Flats. The lizardmen again moved to besiege he city, however the cultists numbers were stronger than the first. The lizardmen called upon the elder elves and they honored their alliance and moved to attack the cultists. The elven – human war begins as the Uniche Empire attacks the elven kingdom defending the cultists. “The battle of open plains” takes place north of the Tenarian Flats, where over a million humans are killed by elven archers, the lizardmen moved in and killed all the cultists, including their priest. Finally, some 80 years later, the elves reclaimed their city under treaty with the lizard empire. Tenarian Flats was rebuilt and has been the center of trade with the northern lands for the last 600 years.
