How anything can live in this place is a mystery even for the gods themselves. The place is toxic a normal person can not live long without some type of magical aid, and those that expose themselves to this place for a length of time end up succumbing to this evil toxic place and falling fatally ill even after leave the place. There is an estimated 450 active volcanos, there are rivers, lakes and seas of molten rock. Ash and rocks fall from the sky as rain. Clouds of toxic gases blow across the surface. There are places where the ocean itself boils and I have seen ships sink as if the water just parted under it. Why would any one want to come here?

Yes this place is full of danger, but in a single trip, a crew can sail away with a kings wealth. Diamonds, gold, silver, platinum and mithril can all easily be found. Some of these metals can be found in liquid state needing only to be scooped out and poured into molds. There is rumors of a diamond the size of a mans head, that was found here, but the ship was lost as the sea swallowed it.
